Victor Harbor to host Anzac Day Dawn Service and historic parade | The Times

After last year’s events were cancelled due to COVID-19, veterans, their families and members of the public are looking forward to marking Anzac Day this weekend.

As restrictions remain in place, some services will run as invite only events and all gatherings will operate under COVIDSafe procedures (see pages 4 & 5).

Commemorations will go ahead in Victor Harbor on Sunday, with a Dawn Service planned at Soldiers’ Memorial Gardens from 5:30am.

An historical moment will follow when an Anzac Day parade makes its way through town at 10.30am. It’s believed this is the first time veterans have marched in Victor Harbor on Anzac Day in about 100 years.
