Large losses and a tight win: Interchange Bench wrap up and Round 3 GSFL predictions | The Times

In a somewhat lopsided round, the GSFL saw a number of heavy defeats, bolstered by a scintillating finish in the Yankalilla and Myponga/Sellicks clash at the weekend. The Interchange Bench went five from five in Round 2, but similarly to last week, games blew out more than we expected. Yankalilla nudged back a two point win over Myponga/Sellicks 11.9-75 to 11.7-73, after wrenching back a half time deficit. Yank led in the first, before the visitors stunned in the second quarter, kicking 6 goals to 2 and picking up a handy 19 point lead. The second half was an arm wrestle, which saw Yank win out. Recruits Thompson and Morgan were again solid, Thomas led from the front to kick 4 goals and Kay, Braendler and Whittlesea…
