Primary school students have been left shaken after arriving to school and finding three of their pet chickens killed.
The apparent act of deadly vandalism was discovered at the Ingle Farm Primary School in Adelaide’s north-east on Wednesday morning.
Principal Vanessa Mortimer said it was with a “heavy heart” that she shared the traumatic news with students and their parents.
“I advise that many students today have been affected by an overnight incident on our school grounds resulting in vandalism to our chicken coup,” she said.
